With Mother’s Day quickly approaching, we have created a blog for you to help your little one prepare a do-it-themselves breakfast for their Montessori Mama. Practical life is so important to developing the whole child and no matter the age, this can prove to be such a great experience for everyone involved in the process. Just don’t be surprised if your little one wants to prepare breakfast everyday!

Safety Tip: When working with the littlest ones, keep the stove off while your child pours the egg mixture into the pan. For older kids, let them do the cooking!

Amanda began her teaching career at a private Montessori school in a small Michigan town. Soon thereafter, she sought out a position at a tuition-free public Montessori because she had a strong belief that all children should have access to a FREE Montessori education. After teaching for 5 years, she assisted in opening a new Montessori school and became the Head of School. Amanda currently works with new Montessori teachers to help them gain an understanding of Montessori philosophy and curriculum. When she isn’t knee deep in trainings and curriculum, Amanda can be found spending time with her family or creating something crafty.
